We’re seeing many companies getting hacked with username and password databases being leaked onto the web for all the malicious hackers to eat up.
Systems are often left unsecured and compromised, laptops with vulnerable Java installations are exploited, or customer service representatives are socially engineered..
I cannot get past the fact that there are still systems out there that fail to see the threats. Recently, I came across a company that just doesn’t get it.
My passwords are randomly created so I was surprised to see this message:
